Join the CD-ED Community

CD-ED provides an online learning environment rich with resources. Please see below for information on our online Students’ Centre, our Guidance Office and Tutorial Centre and our Help Desk and Administration.

But you get more than access to our extensive online resources when you are accepted to CD-ED. Here, you are not just a student – you become part of the CD-ED family. Far from being known as a number, our instructors and guidance counselor will take a personal interest in your progress and will be in touch with you constantly throughout the year, making sure everything is going well with your program and whatever of your home life you wish to share.

Faculty & Staff

Orientation

Your instructor will contact you at the start of your program to introduce you to our staff, your student materials, and the support website.

Instructor Support

You will have unlimited one-on-one instructor support via email, chat, online classroom webinars and toll-free phone calls throughout your entire program - and beyond. Our instructors have industry experience and can help you understand how to conquer the job market before you go out into it. The instructors will know your learning type and can explain any concept so you can understand it. You're not alone!

You will be encouraged to talk with the CD-ED faculty on a continuous basis so that you may develop a typical student/teacher relationship. In our virtual college, help is only an email or a phone call away!

Students' Centre

Our student support website is built around the needs of our students, providing testing, technical support, schedule tracking, and more. The college's learning management system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so our students can set their own schedules for completing their program's weekly requirements.

As a CD-ED student, the Students’ Centre will provide you with a means to access technical support and help from instructors. You will also be able to log in to access:

  • Online Tests,
  • Lessons
  • Video Tutorials,
  • File Downloads, and
  • the Assignment Upload Utility.

You will also be able to view a Report Card of your progress. Each Report Card details your marks and progress in each course within your program.

In addition to the services already mentioned, our student website includes procedures for working from home as well as time management & study tips.

Student Discussion Forums

You will be able to use our online chat forums to discuss classes, careers, and everyday life with other students. We are proud to be supporting such a lively, dedicated community of online learners.

Career Guidance Program

Before you even begin as a student, your personal admissions representative will research the job market for this career in your city, and help you decide if this program is the right path for your future.

Then, students and graduates have full access to our Career Guidance Program.

An Administration section has been added so any student can easily change their contact information or get in touch with the school administration directly, should the need arise.
